Portrait of Roberto González

Roberto González

Creative & Motion Design Director

I started with graphic design and a camera. Photography taught me most of what I still use to judge a frame: composition, color, staging, contrast.

Then I spent 18 years making things move. For almost a decade I ran Dyne Studio, a 3D and motion design practice I co-founded, built on collaboration and co-creation. Through Dyne and on my own, I've worked with HBO Latin America, Pepsi, Converse, Canada Dry, Orange Crush, Rado, Falabella, Entel, Chilevisión, TVN, ANFP and IOTA, and I teach a course on digital lighting on Domestika. Most of that work meant carrying other people's visions to the finish line, and I did it with everything I had. Some of it carries my own stamp. All of it taught me the craft.

Today I start earlier. I define the visual system, with its rules, references and limits, and then build the pipeline that produces inside it. AI is part of that pipeline as a tool, not as the author, along with tools I build when the one a project needs doesn't exist. The pipeline explores inside my direction. I edit, and the decisions stay mine.

I work best as a counterpart, not just a pair of hands. The earlier I join, the more I can shape, but I can step in at any stage and bring the process with me.

Services

The idea leads. The machine follows. The eye decides.

I like to come in early, while the idea, the look and the rules are still taking shape, and stay as the editor until the last frame.

Making things move. The hand behind the direction: I know when a frame is wrong in light, weight or timing, and how to fix it.

The process I fall for usually becomes a system. I design the rules and build the pipeline that produces inside them, so the work scales without losing its intent.

How I work

  • The earlier I join, the more I can shape, but I can step in at any stage.
  • One conversation, deep context.
  • Project, collaboration or full-time role: the fit matters more than the format.

I used to be the machine. Now I build it and keep my hands on it
